Bob Lind, Echo Magazine says: "...one of the most riveting and well-written crime mystery novels I have seen in years. This is a "must read..." More
B.K Walker Books says this about L.A. Boneyard: "L.A. Boneyard by P.A. Brown is absolutely astounding! If you're a murder and mystery fan you are surely going to love this book! Captivating from start to finish, it's a must read! 5.5 stars out of 5!" More
Rose, says about L.A. Heat, Rainbow Award winning book: "The author did a very good job of combining a crime thriller with romance. The crimes were given just the right amount of grusomeness it deserved and the erotic scenes seemed realistic. The setting was so vivid that I was soon wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of the LAPD. Life in L.A, both the glitzy and seedy parts, s so far away from my own life but the author wrote it in such away that I could connect to the world... "
Rie McGaha says about Geography of Murder: P.A. Brown has done a marvelous job of not just telling a good story, but of weaving the reader in and out of the minds of the characters and bringing the reader into a world that feels real to the point of seeming as if you are actually in the story yourself. This story will leave you on the edge of your seat and breathless--for more reasons than one.
Rick Reed author of Mute Witness and Bashed says about Memory of Darkness: P.A. Brown is one of those writers who should be as famous as P. Cornwell, if there were any justice in the world. The author of a whole series of competent, well-researched, and catch-your-breath suspenseful thrillers all centered around the seamy (and gay) underbelly of Los Angeles, Brown’s oeuvre is one that should be embraced by anyone who loves a seamlessly plotted thriller with characters that are anything but typical. Brown writes lean, muscled prose and captures the male viewpoint so effortlessly that one wonders how she does it. More

A lot of people don't realize that there are more slaves held in captivity and engaged in forced servitude today than were seized from Africa during four centuries of trans-Atlantic slave trade. Who are these people? Children sold for small loans, where the interest debt is so high they will never pay it off, so in essence are 'owned' for life, families held in perpetuity since debts are 'owned' by the family. But there is an organization whose sole mission is to fight this scourge.

You see them on CSI and Bones all the time. But forensic labs around the country are woefully under funded. Around America there are tens of thousands of backlogged cases. Each of these represents a victim or victims of crimes that may never be solved or prosecuted because the evidence can't be processed. Now you can be part of helping real labs do the job they were meant to do. |
As someone who has lost everything when my computer was lost while I was ill, I am obsessed about backups. But the only kind I want
are off site backups, since even burning CDs or using USB storage devices still require two things -- a place to put them and
the memory to actually run backups on a regular basis. I thought I had done both, but that turned out to be an illusion. I vowed I would find a
more surefire way to safeguard my writing. I used Mozy online backup, but when I switched to Linux I could not longer use them.
That was when I came across Dropbox
an online storage site that not only will
automatically back your files up with 2GB of free storage as they change but allows you to share files and folders with other people. Want to be sure
your work isn't lost forever? Try Dropbox.
