Stephen Fischer is at the top of his game with successful art shows coast to coast, a penthouse suite he calls home and an accommodating lover. Returning from a gallery showing flush with success, he discovers the body of vitriolic art critic in the lobby of his penthouse, shot point blank in the head. When it turns out harsh words were traded between Stephen's lover and the art critic, Homicide detective Russell Hunter thinks he's found his killer. But more is going on and an unexpected killer jeopardizes everyone involved. Can Hunter save Stephen? Can he save himself from the feelings that threaten to tear his safe, comfortable life apart?
